REPORTS: BALE SET TO RETURN TO MADRID

According to several reports from multiple sources, Real Madrid loanee Gareth Bale will be returning to the Santiago Bernabeu in the summer as it is no longer becoming feasible that he will sign a permanent contract at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium when his loan deal expires next month.

Bale signed for Spurs, his former side, on a season-long loan after he lost his place in the Real Madrid team entirely. His fall-out with the Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane meant that he would be frozen out of the Galacticos first team and he had to find another team where he would be playing his football.

Since joining Tottenham, Bale has had a mixed spell at the London club. During his first few months at Spurs, the club’s former manager, Jose Mourinho was not convinced enough of the Welsh winger’s abilities and the player was usually dropped to the substitute bench for games in the Premier League. He was usually used more for Europa League games before they exited the competition, but the Wales international forward was not satisfied with the lack of game time he was getting.

However, since the departure of Mourinho and the arrival of Ryan Mason, the current caretaker manager, Bale has somewhat been reinstated to the team and is now a regular starter for their league games. Since returning to the first team, Bale has been making progress on the pitch and has been showing his importance to the team as well.

In their last league game, Bale scored a hat-trick, further showing reasons why Tottenham need him. But as things stand, it is currently looking highly unlikely that he will be at the London club next season as he has been rumored to be interested in a return to his parent club this summer.
