Real Madrid attacker Gareth Bale made his return to the Wales squad during the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Belarus at the weekend. The Welsh fans were delighted to have him back in their quest to seal a place at the World Cup tournament next year.
Bale and Wales took a big step towards securing second place in Group E with a dominant victory over Belarus in front of their home fans. Ex-Arsenal star Ramsey completed his brace five minutes into the second half to edge Wales 3-0 ahead. Tottenham Hotspur defender Ben Davies scored the fourth Wales goal with 13 minutes left on the clock for his first goal in the colours of his country. Belarus pulled one back through ArtemKontsevoy three minutes from time, but Wales still had time to regain their four-goal lead through Conor Roberts on 89 minutes.
